Attorney Benyo has litigated criminal cases as a private criminal defense attorney in Beaver County and Western Pennsylvania for 23+ years. Attorney Benyo has also litigated cases in 17 other counties and experienced how their criminal courts operate and is Death Penalty Qualified by the Pennsyvania Supreme Court.
Attorney Benyo takes cases to Jury Trial multiple times every year since 2001. He has built a law practice from nothing and diligently works every day to earn his client’s business. Since the unified judicial system was implemented by the Supreme Court in 2004-2005, Attorney Benyo has appeared as counsel of record in over 200 criminal cases in Beaver County.
Attorney Benyo is Death Penalty Qualified and was appointed by the Beaver County Court of Common Plea in the death penalty case of Commonwealth v. Chermer.

Attorney Benyo graduated magna cum laude from Susquehanna University in 1991 with a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on psychology and sociology. He then graduated from Duquesne University School Of Law in May 1994, passed the Bar Exam in July 1994 and was admitted by the Supreme Court Of Pennsylvania as an attorney in January 1995. Attorney Benyo is currently certified to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the Federal District Court for Western District of Pennsylvania.
